My name is Marsh Faber.

I write.
That is, I write when I'm not fly fishing, skiing or golfing. Recently retired, I write to afford the occasional new putter or fly rod. (See photo at right. I'm the one in the cap.)

What I can do
You know your product better than anyone. My job is simply to find the essence of your message and then distill what you've written into the appropriate form, voice and style. This must all be done within the context of the objective, e.g., precisely what you want the reader to do after reading the message.

My Credentials
In my 25-year marketing career, I have visited more than 40 countries, lived abroad and have been published or quoted dozens of times. My education comprises both engineering and liberal arts so I am able to match styles in either milieu. Most of my experience has been with magazine articles and web content.

What I Charge
My rates are competitive and I typically produce insightful copy in less time than you'd expect. I'm retired (did I mention that?) and I like to have fun, so I only take on small jobs I can finish in a few days.

About the term “High-Stick”. High-sticking is a technique used in fly fishing. It takes a little extra effort and some practice, and you need to be very close to the subject to make it work, but in the end you catch a lot more fish.
